Cashman in a joint venture with Michels Trenchless (MCJV), entered a contract with Revolution Wind, a partnership between Orsted and Eversource. This was the first phase of a 704 MW offshore wind turbine project located approximately 15 miles south of the Rhode Island coast. The project is expected to be operational in 2025 and will provide clean energy to Rhode Island and Connecticut.
Our scope included the installation of two 30” Diameter High- Density Polyethylene (HDPE) underground conduits that are approximately 1,300ft long each and installed through a horizontal directional drill (HDD) bore. The twin conduits were installed parallel to each other separated by approximately 100 feet.
